Hello! Hi again!
How is / was your Winter break? Are you back at work? Start after the New Year? Looking into the distance, waiting for the train of inspiration to arrive? I looked at the schedule. That train hasn’t come to this station in seven years!
Anyway, you’re busy, I’m tired, and here are some updates on places you can see and, uh, read me soon!
Stand-Up / San Francisco Sketchfest
After the pandemic, a canceled festival, and me getting Covid for the first time, I’m finally returning to San Francisco Sketchfest, one of my favorite comedy festivals in the world in one of my favorite cities to perform!
I’ll be there ONE DAY ONLY but I’ve got two shows I’m headlining with the equally great Greg Barris: January 20th at Punchline Comedy Club, 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm. Click that link for Tickets! Please come out and see me do a longer set!
Speaking of which, I’ll be running new material for a new longer set at QED on January 10th at 9 pm! That link will also give you tickets! The show’s only $8 and will feature some great comedians besides me floundering all over the place like a fish. It’ll be a workout, so come see me do said working out! In-person flop sweat!
Hopefully I’ll also have more time in 2024 to do a bit more stand-up. Between working on various things and LIFE! I haven’t been up on stage or on the road as much as I’d like. I’d love to make a few trips and see you when I see you.
Video Game Writing
I’m still writing “Good Game; No Rematch,” which should hopefully still come out sometime in early 2025. I also believe my mini novelization of “Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties” should be coming out sometime in the next few months. I’ve never launched a companion book with a video game before - let alone a famously bad one - so I’m riding this train with the rest of you. That train has showed up in the last seven years.
That said, here are a few things I wrote that are a.) still relevant-ish and b.) I liked.

Television
Small thing! I should’ve posted this like a week earlier, but here’s a segment I wrote and produced for The Tonight Show right before the holidays. It’s always fun doing silly goofy holiday things while the world is in a blender. And, hey, it’s not New Year’s yet. You can enjoy this. You should enjoy this.
That’s all! Wishing you and yours a peaceful-as-possible next few days.
