Good morning, good afternoon, good evening.
How is everyone? How are you doing? Is anyone playing Starfield or Baldur’s Gate 3? What’s everyone playing? Is there anything else going on in the world?
Here’s some stuff, if you’re reading this, you may be interested in:
The latest chapter of the story I’m writing for the good people at Storyloom is up! It’s called “Xylox Tonight!” and it’s about a late night show in space featuring assistants with skulls for a head, sentient fish producers, and one really hot demon named Gary.
I’ve got four chapters up now. It’s been a fun project and I’m happy I get to do it! If you tried your best to avoid any links but want one now, good news: Here is that link.
In other fun things to do, I wrote a very insane joke bit for The Gamer called “Hi, I'm A Stupid Person Who Gets Mad At Review Scores”
The column is not about any recent games that have come out, nor is it about a small group of very loud fans’ insane reactions when other people don’t like said new games. Which this isn’t about. Clearly.
The article has already received a great response and I’ve received angry emails about it! Which is wonderful. Because that’s exactly what this entire column is about.
Finally, who wants some free games? I sometimes buy bundles or receive things that come with an extra game code I don’t always need. Sure, sometimes I give it to friends or family. But as that number slowly drops over time, I’m going to start giving it here, to you, the readers.
So here are a couple Steam codes from some genuinely great games. Unfortunately, once a code is used, it’s GONE, so good luck on being the first reader to catch what you can. Better be quick! And, please be a nice person and only take one game if the code works for you.
Seriously, though, today I’ve got a ton of bangers for you.
(Ignore the word “claimed”. That just means I asked it to give me the Steam code)
That’s all! Hope everyone has a good Sunday!
I've been playing Pikmin 4 on the Switch. It's chill and relaxing, but I almost want to finish it so I can move on to other stuff. Maybe I'll go back to finishing Tears of the Kingdom. I haven't played that fighting game you talked about before since the day I got it on Steam. Maybe I should go back and finish it with more characters.
I am finally getting in to Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3. I'm excited to finish it, but also really excited to start over again with a new character!!
