Hello! I'm back!
If you're wondering where I've been - and I can almost guarantee you weren't - I had Covid for about a week and a half. Rather than push myself to keep up appearances, I decided to actually be a human for once and mostly rest.
I don't have any deep or interesting thoughts on Covid to share. I was sick enough to stay in bed but not sick enough to come to a reckoning with my existence. I wasn't a fan of it! Perhaps that's a thought? Don’t get it!
Unfortunately, getting Covid at the worst possible time meant I missed the entire San Francisco Sketchfest. If you were planning on seeing me - and I can almost guarantee you weren’t - I apologize. Fortunately, we were able to find a replacement host! And the show went great. I heard. It's possible people are lying to me, but I kind of doubt it. Thank you to anyone who might have gone.
Right before I hit “rough” sick, I wrote this article about the frustrations of buying games on the Nintendo 3DS. With only a handful of weeks to go before the eShop shuts down, making it a chore to buy 3DS games is... well, a chore. I know I can add money and just use that - but I want an itemized receipt, folks.
For those of you who saw I was sick - and I can almost guarantee you didn’t - on Twitter and reached out, thank you! You probably didn’t see it since Twitter's algorithm is now 10% hate accounts and 90% ads for embarrassing things. That said, nor is “I have Covid” particularly engagement-heavy content that brings in the views.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing you all more. I hope. I pray.
I just want to make you happy.
I just want to make everyone happy.
