Hey, it’s December! It’s time for a little holly, a lot of jolly, and a touch of some of the deepest sorrow that you’ll never be a child again. Looking at old photos from previous holidays, not remembering anything. If you close your eyes, can you actually imagine your grandparents’ faces? Or are they blank approximations?
Christmas!
One of the best parts of the Christmas holiday season are advent calendars. Once meant to be religious countdown clock for nerds, it’s now a way to enjoy tiny gifts to get your appetite up for when the real good stuff comes down the line.
Anyway!
For the first in what will - hopefully, theoretically, possibly - be a daily thing, I present to you “Space Age Santa Claus” by Pattie Marie Jay and the Hal Bradley Orchestra. It’s a light little song with a 1950s vibe and a hope for a beautiful future in space. That didn’t happen, but this song did!
Happy December to Remember Sales Event!

I collect many things- most unintentionally. One of the things that I have a collection of is advent calendars. Fortunately- not ones with edibles- and by edibles I mean candy, cookies, jam, etc.
I have many Lego advent calendars, funko, misc Disney, playmobile. Alas, on 12/31 I realize that I was too busy or too uninterested to open a single day.
Mike- let me know if you want one and I will send one to you…but not with edibles.
